About Us

"We offer full-service, 21st century banking that's shaped by an old-fashioned, small-town sensibility. At Town & Country Bank, you'll always get the personal attention you deserve. That's because we see our customers as neighbors, not numbers..."

-Bill Ellwood, President

At Town & Country Bank, we're committed to giving back to the community we serve. Our goal is to be a good corporate citizen - and a good neighbor.

Supporting Worthy Causes

Town & Country Bank was a sponsor at the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic, an annual event that raises funds for local charities. In addition, we've also been part of benefit auctions for local schools and nonprofits, including Blue Valley High School, Church of the Holy Rosary, and Heartland Therapeutic Riding.

We are also a regular sponsor of the Blue Valley Education Foundation Breakfast, which supports a number of programs in Blue Valley schools, including the Wilderness Science Center, Broadcast Technology Center, Elementary Foreign Language Program, ACT/SAT Preparation Materials, and AfterProm/Project Graduation.

In addition to supporting local schools, we reach out to youth directly. Our Kids Club offers celebrations and special activities for children and their families while planting the seeds of financial literacy, and our Kiddough accounts let kids learn to save from an early age. We also support financial literacy by sponsoring "Saving with Mandy and Randy," a curriculum for elementary school students.

Making Creative Connections

We believe the arts are an essential part of a healthy, vibrant community. We support local music by sponsoring a series of jazz concerts in Ironwoods Park each fall, in partnership with Leawood Parks and Recreation. These concerts are a highlight of our year, where we delight in seeing families and neighbors come together to enjoy some great music.

We also support the arts by showing work by local artists in our community room. From a needlepoint club to homeowners associations to scout troops, we're happy to share this space with community groups who need a place to meet.

We combine our support of education and emphasis on the arts through the Blue Valley High School Scholarship. Each year, Town & Country Bank awards a scholarship to a graduating senior at a Blue Valley High School who plans to pursue a degree in fine arts.
